Welcome to Voice Rooms (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Voice Rooms Discord bot and any related websites, services, or documentation (collectively, the “Service”). By inviting or using the bot, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Account Responsibility
- You must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- You must have the authority to manage the server(s) where you install the Service and ensure your members’ use complies with applicable laws.
- If you are under the age required by your local law to consent to online services, you must have a parent/guardian or server administrator consent on your behalf.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited behaviour includes, without limitation:
- Illegal activity; harassment; hate or violent content; doxxing; or infringing intellectual property.
- Attempting to disrupt, reverse engineer, or circumvent technical protections.
- Automating requests or events in a way that violates Discord’s API policies or rate limits.
- Using the Service to collect or process sensitive personal information without a lawful basis and required consents.
3. Service Description & Availability
Voice Rooms automates private voice channel creation and controls within Discord. Features may change over time. We may suspend or discontinue parts or all of the Service at any time, including for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.
You acknowledge Discord is a third‑party platform. Outages or changes to Discord may affect the Service.
4. Server Owner Obligations

- Configure permissions responsibly (e.g., auto‑mute, ownership transfer, join requests).
- Comply with applicable privacy and data laws, including notifying members about the bot’s functionality.
5. Intellectual Property
We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, interfaces, and branding. You may not use our marks without prior written permission. You grant us a limited, non‑exclusive licence to process server content solely to provide the Service.
6. Feedback
If you send suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free licence to use it without obligation to you.
7. Third‑Party Services
The Service interacts with Discord’s APIs and may rely on hosting, logging, and monitoring providers. We are not responsible for third‑party terms or policies.
8. Disclaimer & Consumer Law Notice
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy or any guarantee, warranty, or other condition implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) which cannot be lawfully excluded. Where such a right cannot be excluded, but can be limited, our liability is limited to the re‑supply of the Service or the cost of having the Service re‑supplied.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third‑party rights.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of these Terms, security concerns, or legal compliance.
12. Privacy
